A WORK, WHICH TELLS A LOT

     This summary of the works in field of the visual art with author Sabir Krasniqi tells a lot, even more than the first impression shows on the first sight. The several years of author’s work become even more lasting because it encloses the clear language of paintings in philosophical, artistic and aesthetic plain, work which is characterized with the colorings within realistic frames of art even modern. Krasniqi’s work of art speaks clearly with the artistic language and has the special message of the author, who continuously served full twenty years to his country and freedom loving worldwide. In this context, even the work of art put Sabir Krasniqi in the rank of the sufferer class of the society, those, which with their "weapons" such as pencil, paintbrush, chisel and spirit, poured on the paper slowly and carefully, above all patriotic love to enforce the strength, life and above all a message for the coming generations.

     The author has done the whole vertical path on searching for the muses, so that bringing in and pouring out on the canvas to relay it far away of understanding of reality which is called art. To give a clear message to his art, the author on his many paintings expresses the collective spirit of the Albanians, found between waves of life, pushed pitilessly behind the slavery, poverty, pressure, internment, immigration, arrest, pursuit, up to the resistance of the heroic UÇK. While watching Krasniqi’s work of art, the attentive spectator creates an impression that UÇK, with the holy war against the Serbian occupier, is a pay back to the artist, who instead of sleeping, melting on their work day and night with pencil, on writing with paintbrush, with musical note, with steely chisel, with idea and imagination of creator, so that could be able to denote one day a great victory.

     The painter Sabir Krasniqi lives and works for many years in immigration, but he never lay off being active for his homeland, giving from himself a piece of his life, a piece of his opinion, the real criticism, as well as a piece of his creation work, even in many plains like in painting, graphic arts, caricature, photograph where the author powerfully and sarcastically whip the faults of our society in transition.

     One is stressed that Sabir Krasniqi is also interested in the psychological and Para-psychological fields, where he has proved his remarkable activity. Sabir Krasniqi is still relatively young, thus said at the top of creativity, therefore, the art admirers expects fairly more from him. He has certainly attested his talent, his dedication and love for the genuine art.

     PREFACE

     The structural art, especially paintings, are my spiritual occupation.

     Hundreds of works of different kinds and style of sketches summarize themselves into my artistic activity, up to sculptures. The biggest part of them has been presented to the audience by individual and collective exhibitions, in my beautiful and historic city of Prizren and wide. Many of my works have been published in different forms by newspaper and magazines in Albanian as well as into other languages. Some of them have been also used as illustrations for bookbinding.

     With this digital gallery, only a part of my work has been published. I say only a part because the biggest part of them, unfortunately, is not more in my collection possession. A great part of my works has been given to my relatives, acquaintance and friends. Another part "quite large" especially which I have painted during my youth was sold to commercial market as result of financial reasons. More than twenty, in very large dimensions (till 4 meters long) painted during the military service at 1987-1988, have remained in the premises of the military barracks in Skopje. Some of my works have been destroyed during the war (1999) in Kosova. The Serbian aggression has tried to destroy everything, especially arts and culture of the Illyrian successors, - one of the oldest people on the Balkan Peninsula.

     Considering the high costs of publication book print, I had to process these galleries and edit them in digital form. The artistic works placed on this side, which were worked on www (html) language, are arranged to free of choice, not chronologically.

     It is also important to mention that some of pictures, especially a part of the drawings, caricatures and combined photos, correspond with the actual political situation which has overruled at the time they were done. Therefore, their objective meaning, viewed from the prism of the today's actuality, could be pale or be lost at all.

     Although this gallery has a personal character, it will be a modest contribution for the treasure of our national art as well as an inspiration for young artists who wish to express their vigorous emotions in esthetic form of art.
